JUST ONE MAN

In the beginning we are told
God made the heavens and earth and gold
And to establish his glory as of old
He set out to begin the human race
Which would by numbers be as the sands of the sea
And per generation would count to billions even as we see
Yet this number wouldn't come by the creation of a crowd
But by one man, Adam
Just one man
.
Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth
God saw that the wickedness of man was great
And every imagination of the thought of his heart was corruption
However this wickedness was not first exhibited by a group
But by the murder of a brother from same mother
Not by an angry mob or a troop
But by one man Cain
Just one man
.
To correct this corruption
Deeply seated in the souls of the congregation
He still sent not a group nor a troop
But his son Jesus
To bring redemption and liberation from corruption
And frontier a new wave of excellence by the crucifixion
Of one man, Jesus,
Just one man
.
He said to Ezekiel the prophet
I seek for a man
Now that was no mistake
By one who is too big for errors
But a depiction of the majority in one with God
.
So never feel less, never feel lone
There is no limit to what you can achieve except the limits you set on your own
.
God is interested in you
To make you a voice and not an echo
And shift and lift you to the place of authority in destiny
Not because you're in a group association or crowd
Or with a troop by you that could make you proud
But because you're just you,
Just one man
